Election Worker Portal


If you are interested in becoming an Election Worker please fill out the form below.

Only fill this out if you are over the age of 18. If you are a 16 or 17 year-old student, please click here for a paper application.

Qualifications:

  • Resident of Johnson County, Kansas
  • Registered to vote at current address
  • Social Security Card and Driver’s License (a clear/current copy for the payroll department.)
  • Cannot be on the ballot or related to anyone on the ballot in the precinct where appointed
  • Complete the mandatory training
  • Available for the complete day (Please Note: Smoking is not allowed at any polling location.)
  • Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Presidential Elections Polls open 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.)
  • All election workers report to their assigned location no later than one hour prior to opening
  • Following the closing, all workers assist in closing
